Great to see Gary Numan live at The Academy in Manchester.

Gary’s latest album, ‘Savage (Songs From A Broken World)’, entered the album charts at number 2, highlighting that he is still as popular as ever and this is also obvious as the gig in Manchester was sold out.

The Gig

There was lots of new music from his latest album as well as the now compulsory (for every Numan fan,) “Are Friends Electric and Cars” with these songs getting a rapturous reception at the gig. Nice to note that the songs although still maintaining their much loved sound had been updated for a newer audience and dare I say it, I liked the new improved versions a lot.

Gary has lost none of his love and enthusiasm for music and still continues to surprise and delight as he constantly challenges the listener and extends the boundaries of sound. Click To Tweet
The Gig was amazing. So often we are disappointed by our heroes but Gary Numan does not as he is still on top of his game. I hope he continues to make music for a long time to come and he will surely have success with singles and the album charts as well as continuing to build his fan-base through his amazing live Gigs Worldwide.

What do I think?

Darlo Rocks recommends Gary’s events as they offer an entertaining and musical journey with a master of his genre. Thanks Gary for a great Gig.
